Lucy rhymes and rants, chants and charms with poems that prod at injustices and taboos or that stroke life’s underbelly with tenderness, or passion, or humour. She is unafraid to champion a cause or to point out the ridiculous contradictions of 21st Century Britain, in particular with regard to how women are portrayed or expected to behave.
